COMFY

home decorE / OUT OF THE BOX

I like my home to be comfy…. And I think I’m just beginning to define my style as ‘whatever takes my fancy’

I like to think our homes have always been welcoming and a relaxing place for family and friends to come to… but I expect all of us hope for that… And since I’m on my own now… there is NO FILTER… as to what I choose to do.

This picture shows where I’m starting from..

The chair is a set of 2 I bought 25+ years ago for £15 … there were no cushions or cushion base. They’ve had many homemade covers over the years, but this was my favourite from JoAnn.

The table is made by my cousin,Tim Rodeghier and was my mom’s.

The Angel figure is by my aunt, Pat Rodeghier, and is one of many pieces of her art I have.

The Pitcher under the table is from Wexford, Ireland and was a gift to remind me of a music project I did there…

The picture is a watercolour by a High School student that I inherited from my dear friend Tom, when he passed away… he is missed… absent friend…. (I coveted this painting for years)

The lamp is from Habitat 30+ years ago and was ‘on sale’…

This scene is a part of my living room… but all things change.

Literally my home style is ‘out of the box’…. And I think I’m just beginning to define my style as ‘whatever takes my fancy’…
